Pemba Island Sea Safari Infos

DIVERS
An advanced level qualification (or equivalent) is prefered, with at least one dive in the last 3 months. If not a full pool check should be made with their hotel diving instructor prior to diving in Pemba. A total of 4 Dives are made on the Sea Safari, diving equipment is included in the Price. Self equipped divers are most welcome.
Dive Computers are recommended. Diani Marine are happy to rent dive computers to clients who need them. Divers must produce a valid certification and log book on check in. All divers are required to sign the Company Liability Release.
SNORKELERS
Should have a minimum proficiency in swimming. 2 snorkeling sessions of aprox 4 hrs are included in the sea safari. Clients wishing to do additional snorkeling are welcome to do so from the beach. All snorkeling equipment is included in the trip.
MOSQUITOES
There are very few mosquitoes on Pemba island. However, it is recommended that all clients take their prophylactics, and the normal precautions against bites.
VISA
All clients are required to have a visa when they enter Pemba. Visa charge is 50 US$. Clients will be issued a visa on arrival in Pemba.
YELLOW FEVER
Vaccination is required! If the client has no Yellow Fever there is an additional health fee of US$ 5.
PASSPORTS
There are no additional fees for passport handling. Passports should be collected when the client books. Passports must be submitted to the Diani Marine office before 1:00pm on the Friday before the Sea Safari.
HOTEL PICK UPS
From the South Coast are included in excursion fees. Pick ups from North Coast are not included but can be arranged through the office, please organize your client pick ups when making your booking.
CANCELLATIONS
Should be avoided at all costs. In the event of sickness OR mitigating circumstances, refunds will be made at the discretion of the company.

KIDS
Under 12 are half Price.
WEATHER
The trip will not be cancelled in the event of rain. Extreme weather conditions such as torrential rain, high winds and big seas will result in cancellation. The Company will take full responsibility to ensure clients are rebooked on an alternative date or refunded. In all cases the respective booking agent will be informed immediately.
ROOMING ARRANGEMENTS
There are no single room supplements. Single bookings will be honored with a full room unless the Lodge is full in which case clients will be asked to share with a single person of the same sex. Please specify your room arrangements when you make your booking.
WHAT TO BRING
All the usual recommendations for sun protection. REEF SHOES, overnight bag and spare dry cloths. A pullover for evening wear.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Visa and Health fee monies should be brought in cash Dollars to the office by the client on in Saturday morning.
